Epura does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
The app requests access only to your device's media library and the folders or files you explicitly select through the Android system picker. Files are only deleted when you explicitly choose to delete them using the swipe interface.
No data leaves your device. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts required.
The app includes a Privacy and Permissions screen where you can review local access explanations and clear Epura review history. Clearing Epura history does not delete files, revoke selected folders, or change scan settings.
Permissions
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: Used to display your photos and videos for review within the app.
Storage Access Framework grants: Used only for custom folders and downloaded files you explicitly select through the Android system picker.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to send periodic reminders to review your files.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to deliver reminders at the times you choose, even after a device restart.
